The hearts of family, friends, and the Brookfield community are heavy as they mourn the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Paul Lukomski, age 45, who passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Paul was the beloved husband of Partycja Lukomski, devoted father to Olivier Xavier Lukomski, and loving stepfather to Aleksandra Michalska. Born on January 1, 1980, in Wroclaw, Poland, he was the cherished son of Zbigniew and Olga Lukomski.
Paul’s life journey was one of resilience, courage, and devotion. At just one and a half years old, Paul and his parents left Poland for Austria, where he became the youngest person in a refugee camp before immigrating to the United States on September 29, 1981. The family initially settled in Ridgewood, NY, before moving to Yonkers, NY, where Paul attended his first two years of grammar school at St. Casimir. In 1988, they moved to Brookfield, Connecticut, where Paul spent the rest of his life.
He was a proud graduate of Brookfield High School and went on to earn his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Connecticut. Paul dedicated his professional life to helping others through pharmacy — not simply as a job, but as a true calling. For the past six years, he served as the Pharmacy Manager at Towne Apothecary in Bethlehem, CT, where his kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication touched countless lives.
Beyond his professional achievements, Paul was a man of deep passions and joyful spirit. He was a lifelong sports enthusiast, especially devoted to the New York Yankees, and played baseball from high school through 22 years in local leagues. During the winters, he found joy in snowboarding, and in the summers, he cultivated peace through gardening.
He especially cherished time spent with his beloved son, Olivier, exploring fairs and exhibitions together, sharing a love for vintage machinery and technology. To Olivier and Aleksandra, he was more than a father — he was a hero, always present, patient, and full of love.
Paul and his wife Patrycja shared a beautiful bond filled with music, laughter, and adventure. Together, they attended countless concerts, united by their shared passion for music — a reflection of Paul’s soulful and expressive nature.
Those who knew Paul will remember him for his warm heart, humility, and gentle spirit. He was a man who always had a kind word, a compassionate ear, and a willingness to help others — qualities that left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege to know him.
Paul’s passing leaves an unfillable void, but his legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
