In Loving Memory of Montana Solomon

Heartbreak and sorrow have swept through the Fredericton community as family, friends, and neighbors come to terms with the devastating loss of 28-year-old Montana Solomon, whose life was tragically taken far too soon.

On Monday, October 20, 2025, officers with the Fredericton Police Force (FPF) responded to a distressing call reporting the discovery of human remains in a wooded area near Two Nations Crossing, on the north side of the city. After careful examination, police confirmed that the victim was Montana, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend whose presence touched the lives of many.

Authorities have since classified her death as a homicide, a revelation that has shaken the quiet city and left an entire community mourning. As investigators work around the clock to uncover what happened, they have assured the public that this appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to community safety.

“We understand the impact incidents like this have on the community,” a police spokesperson said in a heartfelt statement. “Our investigators are pursuing every lead and remain in close contact with the victim’s family to ensure they receive the support they need during this devastating time.”

No arrests have been made at this stage, and an autopsy is pending to determine the precise cause of death. Detectives continue to gather evidence, combing through the wooded area where Montana was found and canvassing nearby homes and businesses for any clues or footage that might shed light on the tragedy.

Montana’s passing has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew her. Friends describe her as kind, compassionate, and full of light—someone who brought warmth to everyone she met. She was known for her creative spirit and her willingness to help others, always offering a smile and a listening ear.

“She was the kind of person who made everyone feel special,” a close friend shared. “Her laughter was contagious, and her heart was pure. She didn’t deserve this.”

Across social media, tributes continue to pour in as loved ones share photos, memories, and words of grief, remembering Montana not for the tragedy that took her life but for the love, laughter, and kindness she left behind.

As police continue their investigation, they are urging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area of Two Nations Crossing in the days prior to October 20 to contact them.
