It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we announce the passing of a dear friend and loved one, Kathy Jenkins. Kathy transitioned from this life on Friday evening, surrounded by the love, warmth, and presence of family and close friends. In her final moments, she was held in the same love that she had so generously given throughout her life.
Kathy was the kind of person whose presence lit up a room. She had a gentle strength, a kind smile, and a heart that never hesitated to give. Whether it was offering a listening ear, helping someone in need, or simply sharing a laugh, she had a gift for making others feel valued, welcomed, and understood. Her compassion and warmth extended to all who crossed her path, and for this, she will forever remain in our hearts.
Her passing leaves a space that cannot be filled, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her. While we grieve, we also honor the memories she has left behind — memories of kindness, love, friendship, and the beauty of a life lived with purpose and grace.
At this time, the sanctuary is closed to visitors as we take this time to mourn, reflect, and support one another in both grief and love. We kindly ask for your understanding and patience during this period of healing. The presence of community and shared compassion means more than words can express.
Kathy’s legacy will continue to live through the hearts she touched, the lives she uplifted, and the love she shared so freely. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit remains — guiding, comforting, and reminding us to live with kindness and love.
