HENRY COUNTY, OH — The Henry County community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 26-year-old Alysa Stafford, of Swanton, who tragically lost her life in a fatal single-vehicle crash late Tuesday night in Washington Township.
According to a press release from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 11:14 p.m. on County Road 424 near the intersection of County Road 2B. When deputies and emergency responders arrived on the scene, they found a heavily damaged vehicle and determined that Alysa had been the sole occupant. Tragically, she suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators reported that Stafford had been traveling westbound on County Road 424 when the crash took place. The exact circumstances leading up to the accident remain under investigation.
