According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred around 11:36 a.m. on I-459 near U.S. Highway 31, between the Lorna Road overpass and the Highway 31 exit. Authorities reported that two vehicles were traveling southbound when they collided, causing Adrian’s vehicle to overturn. Both drivers were transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham for medical treatment. Tragically, Adrian was pronounced deceased at 12:19 p.m., despite all efforts to save him. The condition of the second driver has not been released at this time.
Hoover Police Capt.
