In Loving Memory of 23-Year-Old Dylan Millhouse

York County, Pennsylvania — A community is mourning after a devastating early morning crash claimed the life of 23-year-old Dylan Millhouse of Etters, while leaving two others injured. The crash occurred around 1:00 a.m. in the 300 block of Valley Road, near the intersection at Diane Drive, according to the Fairview Township Police Department.

Authorities report that speed appears to have been a significant factor in the wreck.

Details of the Crash

When officers arrived, they discovered a heavily damaged white pickup truck, which had rolled multiple times before coming to rest near the intersection. The vehicle had been traveling east along Valley Road when it veered off the right side of the roadway and collided with three utility poles, causing catastrophic damage.

The driver of the truck was ejected during the crash, according to the York County Coroner’s Office. The condition and identity of the driver, along with the surviving passengers, have not yet been released.

Tragically, Dylan Millhouse did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. It remains unclear whether he was wearing a seatbelt at the time or his exact position in the vehicle.

Aftermath and Community Impact

The force of the crash resulted in power outages affecting around 150 nearby residents, including Old Trail Intermediate School, which was forced to move to remote learning for the day due to the disruption. Repair crews worked for hours to restore service to the surrounding neighborhoods.

Police noted that a fourth individual fled the scene before officers arrived. The search for that person remains ongoing, and investigators are working to gather more information regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash.
