The shooting occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday in the 3400 block of Bellingham Road, according to the Columbia Police Department. When officers arrived, they discovered Chance suffering from life-threatening injuries. Acting swiftly, they administered immediate life-saving measures while awaiting paramedics. Despite the tireless efforts of first responders and medical personnel, Chance was later pronounced deceased at the hospital, leaving loved ones and the community in shock and mourning.
