ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO — The McCluer High School community and the greater North St. Louis area are mourning the tragic loss of 14-year-old Colin Hill, a bright and spirited ninth-grade student who passed away on Tuesday, October 28th, after suffering a sudden medical emergency at school.
Emergency personnel were called to McCluer High School after Colin became unresponsive. Despite immediate efforts by school staff and first responders, Colin sadly did not survive. His untimely passing has left classmates, teachers, and loved ones heartbroken and in disbelief.
Colin was described by those who knew him best as a young man with a gentle heart, kind soul, and an inspiring drive to succeed. Whether on the field, in the classroom, or among friends, Colin gave his all — pushing himself to do better and never backing down, even when things got tough.
