MAROA, Ill. — The Maroa community is mourning the loss of Mary Alice Cunningham, 69, of Forsyth, who tragically died following a two-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon. The accident occurred just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of South Wood Street and Route 51, according to the Maroa Police Department.
Police reports indicate the crash involved a commercial vehicle and a smaller passenger car. Emergency responders described the driver of the smaller vehicle as “severely injured” upon arrival at the scene.
