WEST PALM BEACH, FL | October 21, 2025 –Tragedy struck early Tuesday morning in West Palm Beach when police responded to reports of gunfire and discovered a man fatally shot along Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard. Authorities have since identified the victim as “Li Tank”, whose life was senselessly taken in the early hours of October 21, 2025.
According to the West Palm Beach Police Department (WPBPD), officers were alerted to the shooting at approximately 3:30 a.m. through the city’s ShotSpotter detection system, which indicated multiple rounds fired in the 1100 block of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite efforts from emergency responders, Li Tank was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators quickly secured the area as crime scene units began collecting evidence and canvassing nearby businesses for surveillance footage. Police have not yet released information about a possible suspect or motive, but the case is being investigated as a homicide. Detectives are urging anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or has information about the incident to come forward.
“This is a heartbreaking and tragic loss,” said a spokesperson for the department. “Our detectives are working tirelessly to determine what happened and to ensure justice is served for the victim and his loved ones.”
