Eyewitnesses described a chaotic and frightening scene as multiple shots rang out, sending people running for cover and leaving the community stunned. Law enforcement officers quickly flooded the area, securing the scene and searching for the suspect or suspects involved.
As of now, police have not released details about how many people were injured or the circumstances that led to the shooting, but witnesses say it all happened “in a matter of seconds.”
“I just heard gunshots — one after another,” said a nearby resident. “People were screaming, cars were speeding off… it’s like the whole block froze. This isn’t how we should have to live.”
The emotional toll on the community is heavy. Many residents took to social media, expressing heartbreak and frustration at what feels like an endless cycle of violence.
