It is with profound sadness that we honor the life of Sherry Felty, 52, of Paragould, who tragically lost her life on Friday, October 17, 2025, in a devastating multi-vehicle crash on Highway 412 West in Greene County. Sherry was a vibrant and beloved member of her community, a cherished friend, and a devoted family member whose warmth, kindness, and spirit touched everyone she met.
Sherry’s life was marked by generosity and compassion. She had a remarkable ability to bring people together, offering love, encouragement, and support to those around her. Her laughter, her smile, and her unwavering heart were gifts she shared freely, leaving an enduring impact on her family, friends, and community.
She was traveling in a Hyundai Santa Fe at the time of the tragic crash that also claimed the lives of Duane Smith Jr., 40, of Jonesboro, and Christine Sta Ana, 31, of Jonesboro, and critically injured Bruce Owens, 49, of Paragould, and a juvenile passenger. Despite the sudden and tragic circumstances of her passing, Sherry’s memory continues to inspire those who knew her to cherish every moment and embrace the love she radiated.
Sherry’s body was transported to McNabb Funeral Home in Paragould, where arrangements will be made for family and friends to celebrate her life. Though her time with us was far too short, the love and joy she brought into the lives of others will never be forgotten.
Sherry leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and love that will continue to resonate in the hearts of her loved ones. Her life serves as a reminder of the profound impact one person can have on their community and the lasting impressions of a life well-lived.
“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near — still loved, still missed, and forever dear.”
Sherry Felty will be deeply missed, but her spirit and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
