In Loving Memory of Ann Marie Davis McQueen October 25, 1969 – October 18, 2025

RANDOLPH COUNTY, Ark. – A tragic accident in Randolph County has left the community of Maynard heartbroken. Ann Marie Davis McQueen, age 55, of Maynard, lost her life in a devastating crash early Saturday morning, October 18, 2025. According to an Arkansas State Police crash report, the accident occurred at approximately 1:25 a.m. on State Highway 115 and Mockingbird Road.

Authorities stated that Brandon McCall of Pocahontas was driving southbound when he crossed the center lane into oncoming traffic, striking Ann’s vehicle head-on. The impact caused her vehicle to overturn. Sadly, Ann was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were injured in the collision.

Ann’s untimely passing has sent shockwaves throughout the community and among all who knew her. Born on October 25, 1969, in Menominee, Michigan, to Billy Van and Susan Jane Husbeck Davis, Ann lived a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication to her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother, known for her selflessness, strength, and caring spirit.

She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Billy Van Davis, and two cherished nieces, Felecia Davis and Andrea Benham. Though her journey on earth was cut short, her light continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those she loved.

Ann leaves behind her devoted husband, Ross Neill McQueen III; her sons, Cody Slusser and Aaron (Bailey) Slusser; her daughter, Katherine (Clint) Seamans; and her adored grandchildren, Ashlynn, Kolby, Lane, Carolyne, Rage, and Ace — who were the center of her world. She also leaves behind her loving mother, Susan Jane Davis, and her sisters, Renee Stuart, Sandra Davis, Shelia Garner, Brandy Wells, and Jennifer Chavea, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends whose lives she touched deeply.

Ann was known for her generous heart and unwavering love for her family. She was a woman who gave without expecting anything in return and always placed others before herself. Her laughter, kindness, and strength will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock, with Cody Slusser officiating.

Serving as Pallbearers are Cody Slusser, Aaron Slusser, Colby Martins, Clint Seamans, Ace Slusser, and Lane Martins, each honored to accompany Ann to her final resting place with love and reverence.

Though Ann’s passing was sudden and heartbreaking, her legacy of love, faith, and devotion will endure forever. She leaves behind a family strengthened by her example and a community inspired by her kindness.
