It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the Frontier community shares the heartbreaking news of the passing of one of our own, Gage Eddy. Gage was not just a student — he was a bright, kind, and compassionate young man who left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Gage was a dedicated student in the Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing program at the Washington County Career Center, where he was known for his strong work ethic, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and his natural ability to bring people together. Teachers and classmates alike recall his genuine smile, his positive attitude, and the care he showed for others both inside and outside the classroom.
Those who knew Gage describe him as a hardworking and humble soul, someone who faced challenges with quiet determination and inspired others with his perseverance. His friends admired his loyalty and humor, his teachers respected his curiosity and commitment to learning, and his presence in the program was one of warmth and friendship.
The loss of Gage has left a profound void in the hearts of everyone at Frontier and the Washington County Career Center. He will be deeply missed — not only for his skill and dedication as a student but for the kindness, laughter, and light he brought into every space he entered.
As our school community grieves this tremendous loss, we are reminded of the importance of unity, compassion, and care for one another. Counselors from Hopewell Health will be available on campus in the coming days to support students and staff as they navigate this difficult time.
