TUCSON, Ariz – The community is mourning the loss of 86-year-old Evelyn Todd, who passed away from injuries sustained in a tragic crash in northwest Tucson. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed her identity following the incident that occurred on Saturday, November 2, 2025.
Deputies from the Foothills District were dispatched to the area near West Orange Grove Road and North Mona Lisa Road shortly before 8:00 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a serious two-vehicle collision involving a Hyundai Azera and a Fiat Spider. The Hyundai was found resting on a retaining wall near Faith Community Church, while the Fiat had come to a stop close to the intersection.
Both drivers were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries, which at the time were not believed to be life-threatening. However, despite medical efforts and the care she received, Evelyn Todd sadly succumbed to her injuries on November 3, 2025.
Evelyn was a beloved member of the Tucson community — remembered for her kindness, grace, and quiet strength. At 86, she had lived a full and meaningful life, touching the hearts of many who knew her.
