On Sunday, October 12, 2025, while walking along the Rim Trail at Hibernia County Park, Pam was struck by a falling tree. County Park Rangers responded immediately, providing urgent medical assistance until paramedics arrived on scene. Pam, a 67-year-old woman and devoted outdoor enthusiast, was transported to Paoli Hospital for medical care. Despite every effort to save her, she tragically passed away from her injuries.

The news of Pam’s passing has brought immense sorrow to all of us at Chester County Parks + Preservation. Pam was more than a visitor — she was part of the very spirit of Hibernia County Park.
