BOSTON, MA (October 14, 2025) — A deep sense of sorrow has settled over the Roxbury community following the tragic death of 61-year-old Marie Molea-Anthony of Boston, who was fatally shot Monday afternoon in what police describe as a senseless act of violence.
According to the Boston Police Department, the shooting took place at approximately 1:07 p.m. on October 13, 2025, when officers assigned to District D-4 (South End) responded to several emergency calls reporting a person shot near 1855 Washington Street in Roxbury.
When officers arrived, they found Marie Molea-Anthony suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite the swift response of first responders and medical personnel, she later passed away at a local hospital.
A Life Cut Short
