NIAGARA REGION, Ontario — Detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Homicide Unit continue to investigate the shocking death of 27-year-old Amanpreet Saini of North York and the involvement of suspect 27-year-old Manpreet Singh of Brampton. The body of Amanpreet Saini was discovered at Charles Daley Park in the Town of Lincoln on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
Following a postmortem examination, authorities have confirmed the victim as Amanpreet Saini. The investigation has revealed that this was a targeted attack, and there is no ongoing risk to public safety.
As the investigation progresses, detectives have identified Manpreet Singh as the suspect in connection with the homicide. A Canada-wide warrant is being sought for Singh for second-degree murder. Investigators have information suggesting that Singh may have fled the country shortly after Amanpreet Saini’s body was discovered.
