White Oak, PA — The White Oak community is in mourning following the tragic and untimely death of 33-year-old Kenneth Hayman of McKeesport, who was fatally shot Sunday afternoon in a shocking act of violence.

According to authorities, the shooting was reported around 2:15 p.m. near the intersection of Jacks Run Road and Lincoln Way. First responders arrived quickly and found Hayman suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, but despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Hayman’s identity, and the community has since been left grappling with grief and disbelief over the sudden loss of a man remembered for his warmth, energy, and connections to friends and family.

Police are actively investigating the incident and are searching for a dark gray or black Chevrolet Silverado, Pennsylvania license plate HNL-9509, believed to be linked to the shooting. The vehicle reportedly has tinted windows, rain guards, and running boards. Authorities say that three to four men, wearing face coverings and of unknown race, were seen in the vehicle and should be considered armed and dangerous.
