DONNA, TEXAS (October 21, 2025) — Heartbreak has struck the community of Donna following a tragic two-vehicle crash that claimed the life of one teenager and left two others injured on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Donna Police Department.
Authorities say the crash occurred along Expressway 83, causing significant traffic delays as emergency crews responded to the scene. The incident involved three teenagers, all between the ages of 15 and 16, who were traveling in one of the vehicles at the time of the collision.
When officers and first responders arrived, they discovered severe damage to the vehicles involved and immediately began rendering aid to the victims. Despite lifesaving efforts, one of the teens succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The other two teenagers were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment; their conditions have not yet been released.
Police have not confirmed the cause of the crash, and investigators remain at the scene collecting evidence and reconstructing the events that led to the deadly collision. Motorists traveling through Expressway 83 near Donna are being urged to take alternate routes as crews continue to clear debris and complete their investigation.
