CULLMAN, ALABAMA — Heartbreak and tragedy have struck the Cullman community following the arrest of 30-year-old Emily Nicole Battles of Cullman, who has been charged with Murder in connection with the shooting death of Jessy Hooper of Cullman. According to the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal shooting occurred after what has been described as a domestic dispute between the two individuals.
Deputies responded to reports of a shooting earlier this week, where they discovered Jessy Hooper suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, Hooper was pronounced dead at the scene.
